From Strategy to Enterprise Value

Key Outcomes
Developed and executed initiatives spanning Maison Mazerea, exceptional natural diamonds, international sourcing, luxury collaborations, global launches and private-client engagement—helping translate a mining-sector proposition into a broader consumer-facing diamond business.

A$200m+ market capitalisation reached during the period of this broader commercial development.
Building a Luxury Diamond Proposition
Maison Mazerea — branded natural diamonds, proprietary certification and luxury positioning
Developed Maison Mazerea as a luxury natural-diamond proposition designed to move exceptional stones beyond commodity value through provenance, proprietary grading, design, storytelling and international market positioning.
Opportunity
Created a differentiated luxury proposition capable of presenting exceptional natural diamonds as branded assets rather than anonymous commodities.
Leadership & Execution
Led the development of the Maison Mazerea concept across diamond selection, product architecture, proprietary certification, luxury storytelling, jewellery development, market positioning and international presentation.
Key Outcomes
Established a premium brand platform for exceptional natural diamonds, supporting high-jewellery development, private-client engagement and international collaborations.
Commercial Significance
Demonstrated how technical diamond expertise, provenance, design and narrative could be combined to create additional value beyond the underlying stone.
The Grace Diamond — From Exceptional Stone to Global Story
The Grace Diamond — exceptional natural diamond, royal association and international luxury engagement
Selected from the final Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender, the 1.79-carat Argyle Stella™ was one of just five named “hero” diamonds chosen from the historic last collection of rare pink and red diamonds produced by Rio Tinto’s Argyle mine. A square radiant-cut Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink diamond, it already carried exceptional provenance, rarity and historical significance. The opportunity was to take that extraordinary natural asset further — developing it into The Grace Diamond and creating a broader story connecting Australian origin, high jewellery, philanthropy, royalty and UHNW engagement.
Opportunity
Taking one of the most historically significant diamonds from Argyle’s final Tender and create a luxury proposition worthy of its rarity — one capable of extending beyond the stone itself into high jewellery, international storytelling, philanthropy and private-client engagement.
Leadership & Execution
Led the commercial and strategic development of the diamond from its Argyle provenance through naming and positioning as The Grace Diamond, its incorporation into a bespoke high-jewellery necklace by Lorenz Bäumer, and its presentation through international luxury and philanthropic channels.
Key Outcomes
The Grace Diamond became the centrepiece of a wider programme spanning high jewellery, international events and UHNW engagement. The necklace was worn by H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco at a Princess Grace Foundation event in New York, extending the diamond’s story into a globally recognised luxury and philanthropic context.
Commercial Significance
Demonstrated how the provenance and rarity of an exceptional natural diamond can be amplified through disciplined storytelling, design and strategic partnerships — converting an already extraordinary gemstone into a broader luxury platform with international visibility and emotional resonance.
From Argyle’s final Tender to Monaco and New York — one historic natural diamond transformed into a global luxury narrative.
Haute Diamantaire Meets Haute Horlogerie
Maison Mazerea, The Grace Diamond and Franck Muller
Building on the Maison Mazerea concept of Haute Diamantaire — elevating exceptional natural diamonds through provenance, design, craftsmanship and narrative — the collaboration with Franck Muller extended that philosophy into the world of haute horlogerie. The Grace Diamond became the focal point of an extraordinary tourbillon concept, bringing together rare gemmology, specialist watchmaking and high luxury storytelling.
Opportunity
Create a cross-category luxury collaboration capable of placing The Grace Diamond within one of the most technically sophisticated and exclusive expressions of watchmaking, while extending the diamond’s relevance to a new UHNW audience.
Leadership & Execution
Led the commercial and strategic engagement surrounding the collaboration with Franck Muller, coordinating the integration of The Grace Diamond into a bespoke tourbillon concept and its presentation at Franck Muller’s Watchland headquarters in Geneva during the 2023 GemGenève period.
Key Outcomes
The collaboration demonstrated the versatility of an exceptional natural diamond as a luxury asset beyond traditional jewellery, creating a compelling intersection between haute diamantaire and haute horlogerie and generating further international engagement around The Grace Diamond story.
Commercial Significance
Demonstrated how the Haute Diamantaire proposition could move beyond traditional high jewellery into adjacent luxury disciplines, creating a platform for cross-category collaboration, UHNW engagement and additional value around exceptional natural diamonds.

Global UHNW Engagement
Paris, Perth, New York and Monaco — connecting exceptional diamonds with private clients, patrons and international luxury audiences
Developed and executed a programme of international launches, private events and relationship-led engagement designed to take exceptional natural diamonds beyond product presentation and into the world of luxury experience, philanthropy and UHNW connection.
Opportunity
Create direct access to the right audiences for exceptional natural diamonds and high jewellery — not simply through traditional retail, but through carefully curated environments where provenance, rarity and story could be experienced personally.
Leadership & Execution
Led the planning and commercial execution of launches and private engagements across Paris, Perth, New York and Monaco, working across luxury presentation, client development, strategic partnerships and invitation-led UHNW engagement.
Key Outcomes
Built relationships with private clients, patrons and influential luxury audiences, strengthened international visibility for the proposition, and converted product, storytelling and access into meaningful commercial engagement and sales opportunities.
Commercial Significance
Demonstrated that exceptional diamonds require more than exceptional product — they require the right narrative, the right environment and access to the right client communities.

Opportunity

Leadership & Execution

Programmes were designed around practical application — connecting gemmological knowledge, selling excellence, customer experience and profitable growth.
